Lily (Elizabeth) Whelan
(née Fitzgerald)
Whelan (née Fitzgerald), Lily (Elizabeth) (Woodbine Park, Raheny) – August 5th, 2018 (peacefully) in the loving care of all the wonderful staff in Carechoice Nursing Home, beloved wife of the late James and loving sister of the late Phyllis and James. Sadly missed by her loving children Jim, Anita, Valerie and Karl, daughters-in-law Bernadette and Therese, son-in-law Gordon, her 10 grandchildren Laura and David, Philip, Andrew and Dara, Geoff, Suzanne and Stephen, Conor and Lucy, her 3 adored great-grandchildren Kyle, Rogan and Blake, sister May, nephews David and Kenneth, niece Yvonne, Gertie, extended family, relatives and friends.
Rest in Peace
Lily will repose at Carechoice Nursing Home, tomorrow (Tuesday, August 7th) from 4pm until 6pm with family in attendance. Requiem Mass at 10 o’clock on Wednesday (August 8th) in Church of Our Lady Mother of Divine Grace, Raheny. Funeral thereafter to Fingal Cemetery.
The family wish to thank all the amazing staff for making Carechoice a home from home for Lily.
