Lily (Patricia) Murphy
(née Doyle)
MURPHY (Market Street, Skibbereen, late of Ballybawn, Ballydehob and formerly of Gorey, Co. Wexford.): on February 1st 2026, peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at Skibbereen Residential Care Centre. LILY (Patricia) (nee Doyle) wife of the late Denis, loving mother of Angela, Michael-Pat, Marian, Finbarr, Lorkan and Norman, sister of the late Walter, sister-in-law of the late Margaret, Mary, Con and Marian. Sadly missed by her loving family, daughters-in-law Noeleen, Christine, Gwen and Caroline, adored by her 15 grandchildren; Brendan, Declan, Sasha, Kelly, Philip, Emily, Frankie, Ryan, Kieran, Ella, Donagh, Mae, Kate, Fintan and Alison, sisters-in-law Julia and Kathleen, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, long life friend Breda and friends.
Reposing in Hurley & O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Skibbereen on Wednesday, February 4th 2026 from 5.30pm to 7pm followed by Prayers. Requiem Mass on Thursday, February 5th 2026 at 12 noon in St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Skibbereen. This will be livestreamed here. Funeral afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Coronea, Skibbereen.
