Lindsay Byrne

Byrne, Church View and formerly of St. Peter’s Place, Arklow, Co. Wicklow, 6th April 2024, peacefully, after a short illness borne with dignity & courage surrounded by his loving family. In the care of the wonderful staff at Wicklow Hospice, Magheramore and previously at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin. Lindsay, beloved husband and best friend of Elizabeth (Lil)(née Roche), loving dad of John, Lindsay and Henry, treasured grandad of Sophie, Leo, Thomas, Grace, Patrick, Henry Jr., Oisín, Alan and Ruth, loving son of the late Leo and Margaret (Peggy)(née Barnes), dearly loved brother of Joe, Leo, Patrick, Paul, Myles, James, Anthony, Brendan, the late Margaret, Dermot and Kevin. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, grandchildren, daughters-in-law Mary, Stephanie and Rose, brothers, aunt Delia, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Hudson’s Funeral Home (Y14 PT80) Monday from 4pm to 7pm, with removal Tuesday morning at 9.30am to The Church of Saints Mary & Peter, Arklow, arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am, followed by burial in St. Gabriel’s Cemetery, Arklow.
