Linus McDonnell

Linus Mc Donnell, Cullies, & formerly Thomas Ashe St. & Main St., Cavan, Monday, April 27th, peacefully at his home, in the loving care of his family, in his 90th year.  Predeceased by his sister Eithne Carroll & his brother Brendan.  Beloved husband of Maura & devoted father of Padraig, Helen, Linda & Linus. Sadly missed & lovingly remembered by his wife, daughters, sons, his brothers John & Patrick , sister Kitty Egan, his adored grandchildren Cormac, Conal, Micheál, Sadhbh, Nora, Dearbhaile, Fiachra, Daragh & Dónal. Also by his daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law & all his many, many friends.

In accordance with HSE guidelines , a private funeral will take place for immediate family only.  Linus ‘s family understands that people would like to offer their condolences & they are asked to leave a message in the condolences section below. A celebration of Linus’s life will be held at a later date. The funeral cortege will pass Linus's home in Cullies at 11.30am (approx) on Wednesday , pass by his birth place in main st before proceeding for a private burial
