Lorcan Sherwin

The death has occurred of Lorcan Sherwin, Laurel Grove, Delvin, Co. Westmeath on the 17th January 2026, peacefully in the care of his family and the staff in St. Camillus Nursing Centre, Killucan.

Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Bridie, brother William and sisters Breda and Nuala.

Loving husband of Andrée and dad to Catriona, Alan and Louis.

Lorcan will be sadly missed by his wife, daughter, sons, daughters-in-law Bernadette and Rosie, son-in-law Michael, grandchildren Aoife, Eimear, Conor, Laura, Lorcan, Rebecca and Ciara, nephew Patrick, cousins, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May Lorcan Rest in Peace.

Reposing at St. Camillus Nursing Centre Chapel, Killucan (eircode N91VF51) this Monday evening from 4pm with prayers at 6pm. Funeral Mass takes place on Tuesday morning at 11am in the Church of the Assumption, Delvin followed by burial in the local cemetery.

The family would like to thank for their care and attention Dr. Richard and his team in Delvin Health Care Centre, the many carers who looked after Lorcan while at home, Fr. Monks, Br. John and all the nursing and care staff in St. Camillus's Nursing Centre.
