The death has occurred of Loretta Phillips (Née Mc Hugh), Dooniver, Achill Island, in her 91st year, peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Monday 20th October 2025

Predeceased by her husband, Brendan and her brothers and sisters, John, Paddy, Junior (Peter), Margaret, Seamus and Bernie.

Sadly missed and fondly remembered by her daughter, Vanessa, son Mark, and son-in-law, Mark, daughter-in-law, Carol and grandchildren Aoife, Rose and James and their partners, Charlie, Dominik and Katie.

Loretta will also be sadly missed by her brother, Anthony, Brother’s in-Law, Jim and Stan, Sisters-in Law, Nancy, Ita, Mary, Nellie and Nuala, her numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and wide circle of friends.

May Her Gentle Soul Rest in Peace

Reposing at her residence (F28 TX 04) on Wednesday from 4pm until 8pm with removal Thursday morning to St Josephs Church, Bunacurry for 11 o’clock mass. Burial afterwards in Bunacurry Cemetery.
