The death has occurred of Lorna Shekleton, (nee Mc Elwaine), Rocks Road, Kingscourt, Co. Cavan, peacefully at the Mater Hospital Dublin, on Wednesday 6th May, 2020.  Beloved wife of the late Herbert and loving mother of Paul, Linda, Glenn and Fiona. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her heart broken family, brothers Alan and Kenneth, sister Joyce, daughter-in-law Jane, Linda's partner Neil, her adored grandchildren Wayne, Zoe, Aaron, Shane, Scarlet and Harvey, great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.

Safe in the arms of Jesus

In line with the Government/HSE advice regarding public gatherings, a private cremation will take place for the family on Friday in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan. Those who would have liked to attend the funeral but due to the current restriction cannot, please leave a personal message in the Condolence section below.

Lorna's funeral cortege will travel through Kingscourt via Dublin Road at 12.30 pm on Friday and through Bailieborough at appprox 1.15 pm en route to the Crematorium. Please follow all Government/HSE guidelines regarding social distancing. A Service of Remembrance for Lorna's life and burial of her ashes will take place at a later date. No flowers please.  Donations in lieu, if desired, to Barnados Ireland.
