Louise Downey, née Bannon, Ballsgrove and formerly of Greenhills, Drogheda, Co. Louth.6th March 2026. Peacefully in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital surrounded by her loving family after a short illness. Predeceased by her beloved husband Jim and sister Jeannie. Loving Mam to Jane, Hugh, James and Shane. Louise will be very sadly missed by her daughter, sons, son-in-law Seán, daughters-in-law Sharon, Carol and Paula, grandchildren Arron, Aoife, Daniel, Jack, Ciarán, Seáinin, Fiach, Laura, Lorcan, Pádraic, Shane, Cillian, Mollie and Caoife, great grandchildren Brian, Fiyah and Cúan, sisters Mary, Bridgie and Ailish, sisters-in-law Marie and Pauline, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends, especially her best friend Dinah.

May Louise Rest in Peace.

 

Reposing at Townley’s Funeral Home, Crosslanes, Drogheda (A92 XN75) on Sunday from 3pm until 6pm.

Funeral Mass on Monday morning at 11am in Holy Family Church, Ballsgrove.

Burial afterwards in Calvary Cemetery.

 

Family flowers only, donations in lieu to a charity of your choice.
