Louise Duffy
(née Higgins)

Louise Duffy (nee Higgins) of West Nyack owner and operator of Café Diem died of Synovial Sarcoma cancer on November 20, 2024. Peacefully surrounded by her family, at the age of 42. Louise was born on September 10, 1982 to Edward Higgins and Dymphna McKenna. Mrs. Duffy was born and raised in Dundalk, Ireland before settling down in Rockland County, NY.

Mrs. Duffy will be remembered for her flare, generosity, resilience, warmth, and compassion. She is survived by her husband Ruairi Duffy, her loving children, Nicole, Emma, Jane, Shea and Leo. As well as her grandchild Amelia, her father Edward, her brothers is Sean, Liam, Oisin and David, her sisters Angela and Danielle and their children.

Visiting hours are 2-6 pm, Sunday, November 24, 2024 at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10;00 AM, Monday, November 25, 2024 at St. Aedan R.C. Church. Burial will follow at Rockland Cemetery. The funeral will be treated as a celebration of life, we encourage all those who can join us to wear colorful attire.
