Louise O’Donoghue

Louise O'Donoghue, (née Dunne), Dun Saile, Prospect, Maree, Oranmore, Co. Galway and formerly of Ballybofey, Co. Donegal. December 24th, 2025. Predeceased by her parents Grania and John.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Louise at her home surrounded by her loving family after an illness bourne with dignity and courage.

Dearly beloved wife of Eamonn, much loved mother of sons Eoin and Neil and daughter Rachel. Louise will be sadly missed by Neil's Fiancé Dana. Louise is survived by her brother Cormac and sisters Claire and Ruth, brother-in-law, her Aunt Ailish, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, friends and work colleagues.

Reposing at Maree Pastoral Centre on the grounds of St. Joseph's Church, Maree (H91KOY9) on Saturday the 27th December from 4pm to 5.30pm. Funeral Mass in St. Joseph's Church, Maree on Sunday the 28th of December at 12.30pm. Burial afterwards in Renville Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Galway Hospice.
