The death has occurred of
Louise Van Ryt
(née Van Sprang)
Van Ryt (Drimoleague): On April 8th 2026, peacefully at her residence, in the tender and loving care of her devoted husband and family, and the wonderful care of the palliative care nurses, Louise (née Van Sprang) beloved wife of Jerome, and loving mother of Claudia and Claire, The Anchor, Madore, Drimoleague.
Deeply regretted by her heartbroken husband, daughters, granddaughters Larissa and Sarah, son-in-law Pepijn, brothers, sisters-in-law, kind neighbours and her many close and dear friends.
May She Rest In Peace.
Reposing in Shanahan’s Funeral Home, Leap on Friday 10th April from 7pm to 8pm. Cremation service will take place on Saturday, 11th April at 2pm in the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy, Cork which will be live-streamed on the Funeral service link below.
Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if desired to Marymount University Hospital & Hospice.
Louise will be dearly missed. We will never forget her great since of humour.
