The death has occurred of
Lt. Colonel Richard Fogarty
Lt. Colonel Richard Fogarty of Bruff, Limerick departed this world the evening of Monday, 4th August 2014. He is mourned by his wife Esther, and daughters Sheila, Anna and Catherine.
As we listened to the 'Last Post' played on the fields of Belgium, commemorating the soldiers of WW1, we bid farewell to our own dear solider; a quite man with an indomitable spirit – our own dear Richard the Lion Hearted.
A funeral service will take place at the Crematorium at Mount Jerome, Harold's Cross, Dublin 6 at 3pm on Tuesday next, the 12th of August. His ashes will be interred in the family grave in Bruff on Saturday, 6th September, at 5pm.
