The death has occurred of Lucy Brennan (nee O’Sullivan), Killycard, Castleblayney, Co.Monaghan and formerly Goatstown / Donnybrook, Dublin. Monday, February 20th peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in the tender loving care of the nurses and staff of St. Mary’s Hospital Castleblayney. Predeceased by her beloved husband Joe and son Eamonn. Deeply regretted and remembered with love by her loving family, sons Joe, Kieran, Ronan and Fergal, daughter Margaret, daughters in-law Róisín, Fionnuala and Lisa, son in-law Ned, brother Brian, sisters in-law Margaret, Therese, Sheila and Pauline, her cherished grandchildren Aedine, Niamh, Cillian, Aoife, Conor, Eoghan, Maeve, Joseph, Billy, Tom, Nina, Timmy, Leo, Elsie and Caio, her adored great-grandchildren Matilda, Ollie, Georgia, Evie, Fiadh and Lucy, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Lucy will repose at her son and daughter in-law's home,Joe & Róisín Brennan, Corracloughan, Castleblayney (A75YH31) tomorrow Tuesday from 2pm until 8pm. Removal from the residence on Wednesday morning at 11:30am (driving), to arrive at St. Mary’s Church, Castleblayney for funeral mass at 12noon, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. House private to family on Wednesday morning. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to St. Mary’s Hospital Patient Comfort Fund c/o Wards Funeral Home or by donation box.
