Lucy Shannon (née English) Farranshone, Limerick and formerly of Grove House, Hospital, Co Limerick.

 

Passed away peacefully on November 14th 2025, surrounded by her loving family, following a short illness, and in the tender care of the wonderful nurses, doctors and staff of Milford Care Centre.

 

Pre-deceased by her brothers Dominic, John, Tom, and sisters Libi and Tess. Loving wife of Frank, dearly loved mother of Redmond and Kate, adored grandmother (Yaya) of Thomas and Charlotte. Lucy will be dearly missed by her son-in-law Paul and Redmond's partner Mónica; her brothers Tony and Michael; sisters-in-law Ruth and Mary; nieces, nephews; the extended English and Shannon families; and all the friends she made over the years.

Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street on Monday (17th November) from 6.30pm to 8pm. Funeral arriving at St. Munchin’s Church, Clancy Strand on Tuesday (18th November) for Requiem Mass at 1pm followed by cremation service in Shannon Crematorium at 3pm.
