Luna Aherne Burns

Peacefully, on her 1st birthday in the arms of her loving parents following a long illness in Great North Children’s Hospital, Newcastle. Cherished and adored daughter of Chris Aherne and Fiona Burns, beloved sister of Hayley and Iris, granddaughter of Sheila & Stuart Burns, Geraldine Aherne & Tony O’Leary, much loved niece of Amy and Alan Burns, cousin of Cuan & Goddaughter of Melissa O’Sullivan and Vicky Burns.

Sadly missed & lovingly remembered by her heartbroken parents, sisters, grandparents, aunt, uncle, godparents, cousin, great-grandparents, relatives and friends of the family.

Luna will repose at Cahill's Funeral Home, Newtown Rd.,Cobh P24Y383 on Sunday March 26th from 5pm with prayers at 6.30pm. Removal on Monday March 27th at 10.30am to St. Colman's Cathedral for 11am Mass of the Angels followed by burial in St. Colman's Cemetery.
