Mabel passed away peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff of St. Brendan’s Nursing Home, Loughrea, on Wednesday 28th May 2025.

Predeceased by her parents Jeremiah and Ellen, sister Angela, sisters-in-law Merci Cunnane, Maye Scott and brothers-in-law Andy O’Connor, Pat Barrett, Sean Scott, Dannie Cunnane.

Mabel will be sadly missed by her husband Joe, sons Padraig and Joe, daughter Ruth, daughters-in-law Mary and Kate, son-in-law Edward, sister-in-law Marie, grandchildren Emily, Georgia, Ben, Alexander and Izzy, nieces and nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Mabel will lie in repose in Kilboy’s Funeral Home, Loughrea (H62 KF63), on Friday, 30th of May, from 5.30pm to 7pm.

Mabel’s funeral cortege will arrive at St Brendan’s Cathedral, Loughrea for Requiem Mass on Saturday, 31st of May, at 12.30pm followed by burial in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Loughrea.
