It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Mabel Cooney (née O’Rourke) Late of Athlunkard Street, Limerick and Lynwood Park, St. Patrick’s Road, Limerick and more recently of King’s Park, New York, U.S.A.
On March 16th 2026, peacefully, in her 95th year, surrounded by her family, in New York.
Pre-deceased by husband John Cooney.
Very deeply regretted by daughters Sheila, May and Kathleen, son John, son-in-law Ken, grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
May She Rest in Peace
Funeral will take in St. Joseph’s Church, King’s Park, New York, Thursday, March 19th 2026, followed by Cremation.
