MacDara (Dara) Kennedy

Dara passed peacefully from this life on Wednesday, 8th December, surrounded by his family, in the care of St. Patrick's Ward, UCHG. Predeceased by his father Val, Dara will be deeply missed by his loving wife Anne-Marie, son Ewan, mother Nancy, siblings Karl, Colin, Kim, Keith and Gareth, parents in law Jim and Rita, brothers in law, sisters in law, Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives, extended family and many friends.

Dara's cortège will make its way to St Brigid's Church on Sunday at 10am, via Castle Avenue. Friends and neighbours are invited, if they wish, to line the route as a mark of respect and support to the family. Those attending are asked to wear a mask, respect social distancing, refrain from hand shaking or hugging. Mass will be celebrated for Dara's soul on Sunday, December 12th, at 10.30am, in St Brigid's Church, Portumna. Some restrictions still apply in attending Mass to allow for social distancing. Dara's Mass will be streamed on the following link DARA'S FUNERAL. Burial afterwards in St. Michael's Cemetery. Family flowers only. donations if desired to East Galway and Midland Cancer Centre please.
