KENNY, Madeleine (née Mooney) late of Rathfarnham and formerly of Sandymount, passed away peacefully, on the 1st of September, 2025, in the wonderful care of St. Vincent’s Hospital.

Beloved wife of the late Tom and loving mother of Elaine, Janine and Louise; Madeleine will be sadly missed by her daughters, sons-in-law Barry and Colin, her cherished grandchildren Thomas, Sadhbh, Anna, Chloe and Isobel, her sister Phil and all her extended family, neighbours and friends, especially her sister-in-law Pauline.

Madeleine will be reposing at the Larry Massey Funeral Home, Rathfarnham, Eden Centre, Grange Road, Rathfarnham, on Wednesday (September 3rd) from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Thursday morning (September 4th) to the Church of the Divine Word, Marley Grange, arriving for 10am Mass, followed by a Cremation Service at 12.15pm in the Victorian Chapel, Mt. Madeleine’s family would like to give a special thanks to the wonderful staff in the Dialysis Unit at St. Vincent’s Hospital for all the care and support given to Madeleine.
