The death has occurred of Madeline McCafferty (nee Connaughton) of Mount Assumpta, Ballina & late of Rathreedane, Bonniconlon. 

Suddenly at Mayo University Hospital.

Predeceased by her parents Martin & Margaret Connaughton Rathreedane, Bonniconlon, husband Bobby, sons Noel and Raymond, daughter-in-law Mary, sisters Teresa & Eileen, brothers John Joe, Matt & Jimmy.

Madeline, sadly missed by her loving sons and daughters Norry, Sean, Valerie, Paula, Gabriel and Darina, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, 24 grandchildren, and her great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends.

Reposing at McGowan's Funeral Home, Ballina on Monday evening from 5:30pm until 6:30pm. Funeral cortege will arrive to St. Patrick’s Church, Ballina on Tuesday morning for 11.30am requiem Mass followed by burial in Leigue Cemetery, Ballina.
