Maeve Carey

The death has occurred of Maeve Carey of Ennis Road, Kilrush and formerly of Leitrim Kilmihil on the 11th of February 2026

 

She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family

 

Maeve is predeceased by her parents Tomas & Margaret, sisters Eileen & Maureen, brother John and brother in law Vincent Lernihan.

 

She will be fondly remembered by her sisters Anne Lernihan, Teresa, her brothers Patrick, Michael, sisters in law Mary & Ann, nieces, nephews, grand nieces & grand nephews

 

May her kind and gentle soul rest in peace.

 

Her remains will be reposing at St Senas Church, Kilrush on Thursday 12 February from 5-7pm.

 

Funeral Mass will be on Friday 13th February at 11.00am followed by burial in Leitrim Cemetery. Her mass can be viewed on the Kilrush Parish Webcam at https://www.kilrushparish.com/webcam/
