Maeve Holmes (née McCarthy) Killeenavera, Dromkeen, Co. Limerick and formerly of Ballinacurra.
February 11th 2026 peacefully at St. Michael’s Nursing Home, Caherconlish, surrounded by her loving family.
Beloved wife of the late Charlie. Dearly loved mother of Robert, Carol Ellen and the late Paul. Sadly missed by her daughter-in-law Ellen, son-in-law Martin Starkie, her cherished grandchildren Dylan, Robbie, Grace, Charlie, Fintan and Alanna, sisters-in-law Cora (McCarthy) and Anne (Kiernan), nephews, nieces, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her brothers Stan, Billy, Paddy and Michael, sisters Helen (Johnstone) and Sr. Lily.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street on Wednesday (18th February) from 5pm to 7pm followed by removal to St. Michael’s Church, Cappamore (arriving at approx. 8pm). Requiem Mass will take place on Thursday (19th February) at 11.30am followed by burial in St. Columba’s Cemetery, Pallasgreen.
