Maeve Kilroy (née McCarthy)

 

8 Woodstock Hill, Shanaway Road, Ennis, Co. Clare, (V95 Y68C), and formerly of Cappa Drive, Kilrush, Co. Clare.

 

Maeve passed away peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of Our Lady of Knock Ward at the Galway Clinic on the 31st March 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

 

Predeceased by her parents Gerry and Ann.

 

Sadly missed by her beloved husband and best friend John, loving children Eimear, Diarmuid, Ronan and Tiernan, uncles Michael and James Roche (Galway) and all the Roche and McCarthy cousins whom she had a very special relationship with, parents-in-law Cathal and Agnes (Belmullet, Co. Mayo), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and her wide circle of friends.

 

Funeral Arrangements: Reposing at her residence (V95 Y68C) on Holy Thursday (2nd April) from 5 pm until 7.30 pm. Arriving at Ennis Cathedral on Good Friday (3rd April) for Funeral Liturgy at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Shanakyle Cemetery, Kilrush.
