The death has occurred peacefully of Maeve Wyer, nee Keogh, after a short illness surrounded by the loving care of her family at her residence. Maeve was predeceased by her husband Dessie, her grandsons Edward English, and Karl Wyer, and is survived by her loving and devoted children David,Sinead, Sharon, Aidan, Andrew, and Katie, sisters Angela, Derry, Anne, and brother Franco, her grandchildren, nephews and nieces, in laws, extended family and a wide circle of friends.
Maeve's remains will leave her family home, on Friday 26th March at 10.30am, to arrive at St. Colmcille's Church Kells for 11am for private funeral Mass. Maeve's funeral Mass can be viewed on https://www.kellsparish.ie/our-parish/webcam/, followed by burial in St. Colmcille's Cemetery.

Maeve will be fondly remembered as a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, sister and true friend. She had a tremendous devotion to her faith and her daily prayer life, gave her great strength, to deal with the joys and sorrows of daily life. She also travelled to many Marian Shrines throughout the world with a particular love for Lourdes and Knock. Maeve's family, and many friends in her faith community, greatly miss a precious lady in the person of Maeve.
