Mai DAVEY

The death has occurred of Mai Davey, Coola, Sooey, Co. Sligo. January 7th 2026, peacefully and unexpectedly at Sligo University Hospital.

 

Predeceased by her beloved husband Eugene, her sister Helen, brothers Pat, Martin and John.

 

Mai will be sadly missed by her sons Eugene, Damien and Tony, daughters Geraldine and Catherine, sister Brigid, grandchildren Shalay, Keith, Gary, Makayla, Saoirse, great-grandchildren Jake, Luke and Kate, daughter-in-law Catriona, son-in-law Martin, Tony’s partner Cheryle, neighbours and her large circle of friends.

Reposing at her home on Friday evening (January 9th) from 4p.m. until 8 p.m. Removal on Saturday morning to the Church of the Assumption, Sooey, arriving for celebration of Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m.. Interment immediately afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Sooey.
