The death has occurred of Mai (Mary) Shanahan (nee Godley), Tubridmore, Ardfert and formerly of Ballylongane, Ballyheigue, Tralee, Co. Kerry on the 30th November peacefully surrounded by her loving family in University Hospital, Kerry. Predeceased by her husband Jimmy, parents Patrick and Ciss, brothers Pat Joe, Eddie, Thomas, Michael Anthony, sisters Bridie and Mim. Sadly missed by her sons Brendan, P.J. and James, daughters Noreen (O' Brien), Mary (O' Halloran), Breda (O' Connor), Anne, Patricia and Martina (Gaynor), brother Jim, sister Geraldine O' Shea, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, grandchildren and great grandchildren, a large extended family, close friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Hartnetts Funeral Home V92 WTK8, Ballyheigue, Tralee, Co. Kerry on Friday, 1st December, from 6pm-8pm, Requiem mass will take place in St. Brendan's Church, Ardfert on saturday at 2pm and burial afterwards to the Abbey Cemetery, Ardfert.
