Mai Twomey (née Leahy), Knocknadiha, Tournafulla, Co. Limerick, passed away peacefully in the care of the staff at Beechwood House Nursing Home, Newcastle West on Monday, 16th September 2024.

Predeceased by her husband Tom, sisters Margaret and Eileen, Mai is very sadly missed by her loving sons Michael and Pádraig, daughters Joan Curtin (Newbridge) and Marina O’Driscoll (Mallow), son-in-law Dermot, (predeceased by her son-in-law Donie), daughters-in-law Bridie and Hannah, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, all her other relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Harnett’s Funeral Home, The Square, Abbeyfeale (V94 AK44) on Wednesday, 18th September from 6.00 p.m. until 8.00 p.m.

Funeral cortège will depart Mai’s home in Knocknadiha on Thursday, 19th September at 10.30 a.m. on route to St. Patrick’s Church Tournafulla to arrive for Requiem Mass at 11.00 a.m.

Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
