Wallace (née Flaherty) Mai . Crowe St, Gort, Co. Galway. Suddenly at her home on Saturday May 23rd 2020. Predeceased by her parents Catherine & Patrick and brother’s Kieran, Joe & David.

 

 

Sadly missed by her heartbroken husband and best friend Sean. Cherished and adored Mam of Derek (Castleblakeney) Ian (Galway) and Martina & Janet (Gort). Much loved nana of Aaron, Bobby, Katie and Sophie. Fondly remembered by her son in law Raphael, daughters in law Maeve and Linda, sister in law Mary Flaherty (Galway), sisters in law, brothers in law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and many loyal friends.

                   

 

 

 

Due to government restrictions and Hse guidelines Mai’s funeral will take place in private for family only. Requiem mass for Mai will take place on Wednesday May 27th at 12 noon in St. Colmans Church Gort. For those who wish to be part of Mai’s final farewell her mass will be streamed live on the Gort Parish Facebook page. Mai will be laid to rest afterwards in St. Colmans Cemetery Gort. Flowers are most welcome as Mai loved her garden and flowers. If you would like to pay your respects to Mai and the Wallace family you can stand in a static guard of honour on her final journey from her home to St. Colmans Church Gort adhering to the 2 meters apart guidelines and social distancing at all times. The funeral cortège will leave her home at 11.30 am on Wednesday morning.
