MAIGHREAD HYDE (Hydes Childrens Fashions, Main St. Midleton and Hydes Funeral Directors).

 

Maighread passed away suddenly, peacefully and without fuss on August 16th 2024 at her lifelong home. Beloved daughter of the late Addie (née Forrest) and Tony Hyde, loving sister of Stephanie Oosthuizen, Niall and the late Richard (Dick) and Tom, much loved sister-in-law of the late Dan Oosthuizen (Diesel Dan) and loving aunt of the late Mari Oosthuizen (Hydes Funeral Directors).

 

Sadly missed by her nieces and nephews Anthony, Dirkie, Shelly, Mike and Daniel Oosthuizen; Seán, Róisín and Alice Hyde; Ruth, Simon and David Hyde, her grandnieces and grandnephews in Ireland and abroad, cousins especially Joan Carey and Anne O’Neill and the wider Forrest family, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends most especially Thérèse, Mary and all of Maighread’s Shop family, who meant so much to her and whose care, compassion and love for Maighread, helped her to live such a full and rich life to the end.

 

May Maighread Rest In Peace.

 

Maighread will repose at Hyde’s Funeral Home, Drury’s Avenue, Midleton, on Sunday 18th from 5pm-6.30pm following which Maighread will be brought privately to the Church of the Most Holy Rosary.

 

Requiem Mass on Tuesday 20th at 11am in the Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Midleton followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery.
