Máire Hanly of Knockmoyle, Tralee and Kenmare, Co. Kerry, died peacefully on 10th April 2026, surrounded by her heartbroken family in the exceptional care of Tralee Community Nursing Unit, beloved daughter of the late Paddy & Brigid, cherished sister of Catherine (Dolan), Veronica (Curtin), Jackie (Linnane), Gráinne (Fee) and Neil and dear aunt of the late Baby Joseph.

Forever loved and missed by her loving family, her brothers-in-law Mike, Tommy, Jerome & Kevin, sister-in-law Darina, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Rest in Peace.

Máire will repose at the Gleasure Funeral Home, Tralee, on Sunday (12th April) from 3 to 5 p.m. Funeral arriving to St. John’s Church, Tralee on Monday where the Requiem Mass for Máire will be celebrated at 12 noon (streamed on www.stjohns.ie). Interment afterwards in Rath Cemetery.
