Maire McAlinden
(née McDonagh)
McAlinden (née McDonagh) Maire (Sandymount, Dublin 4 and formerly of Oranmore, Co. Galway). 10th February 2026. Peacefully, at home surrounded by her husband and loving family. Beloved wife of Joe, adored mother of John, Susan and Orla, devoted and cherished grandmother of Philippa, Emily, Georgia, Kate and Victoria. She will be sadly missed by her husband, daughters, son, grandchildren, son-in-law Mattie, sisters Cecily and Margaret, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews extended family and friends. Maire was predeceased by her brothers Paddy, Laddie, Anthony, Tom and George and sisters Connie and Nan.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing at her home in Sandymount on Thursday, 12th February from 5pm -7pm. Funeral Mass on Friday, 13th February at 10.00am in Church of St. Mary, Star of the Sea, Sandymount, Dublin 4 followed by burial in Deans Grange Cemetery.
