Mairéad Crosbie (née Carroll), 9 Barrow Lough, Leighlinbridge, Co. Carlow, passed away after a short illness on Sunday, 25th August, 2024, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Co. Kilkenny. Predeceased by her grandparents Jack and Mag, mother Anne, uncle Jim and her granddaughter Daenerys. Mairéad will be sadly missed by her beloved husband Damian, much loved children Carole-Anne, Mark, Paul and Shane, cherished grandchildren Kayleigh, Kian, Freya, Olivia, Emilia and Caylan, her sister Jeanne & family, uncle Bill & family, the extended Crosbie family, kind neighbours, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Cushen’s Funeral Home, Kilcarrig Street, Bagenalstown, Co. Carlow (Eircode; R21 V127) on Tuesday, 27th August, from 3pm until 8pm, with prayers at 6.30pm. Arriving at St. Lazerian’s Church, Leighlinbridge, on Wednesday, 28th August, for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Leighlinbridge Cemetery.
