Mairead Farrell

Mairead Farrell, Cois Dara, Chapelstown, Carlow and formerly of "Ballyhi", Gowran, Co. Kilkenny, passed away peacefully on January 2nd, 2025, at her home surrounded by her heartbroken family, after a short illness.

Predeceased by her parents Tommy, Peig and Cora.

Mairead, devoted mother of Jamie and Emily,

she will be sadly missed by her beautiful children, partner Wayne, sisters Sinéad and Síle, brothers Paul, Thos, Joe and Gary, sisters-in-law Nicola, Aisling, Bridget and Rachel, brothers-in-law Karl and Mike, her adored nieces and nephews, and her very wide circle of friends.

Reposing at her sister Sinéad's home (Stangs, Gowran, Co. Kilkenny, R95 H768) on Saturday from 12 noon concluding with prayers at 7pm.

Requiem Mass on Sunday at 12.30pm in the Cathedral of the Assumption, Carlow.

Burial afterwards in the Cemetery of the Assumption, Gowran, Co. Kilkenny.
