Mairead Gaffney (née Cavanagh) (Aughrim Street, Dublin 7) passed away suddenly but peacefully 4th April 2025 in the care of the staff at Elm Green Nursing Home. She will be sadly missed by her loving children Peter, Elizabeth, Joanne, David and Eimear, grandchildren Darrell, Aaron, Jordon, Austin, Erik and Kian, great-grandchildren Emily, Tyler and Harper, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, extended family, neighbours and friends

Reposing at Bourke’s Funeral Home, 71 Queen Street from 5pm to 7pm Monday evening. Mairead’s Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday morning at 11.30am in the Church of the Holy Family, Aughrim Street followed by burial at Ballyboughal Cemetery, Co. Dublin.

 

Family flowers only please. Donation in lieu, if desired, to The Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland. .
