Mairéad MANGAN
(née McAuliffe)

Blackrock, Dublin

MANGAN (née McAuliffe) Mairéad (Head of Fundraising and Communications, ARC Cancer Support Centres and late of Blackrock, Co. Dublin) - passed peacefully surrounded by family on 11 December 2021 at St James' Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Conor, adored mother of Philippa (Pierse) and Aifric (MacCourt) and  idolised grandmother of Elodie, Emilia, Elliot, and future grandchild number four on the way soon; profoundly missed by her devoted family, sons-in-law Morgan and Barry, sisters Kate, Mary, Gráinne and Orla, brothers John, Roderick, Conor and Noel Hayden, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, and many friends, particularly her dearest friend Mary O’Reilly. A special mention to Dr. Catherine Flynn and nurse Lorraine Brennan from St. James’ Hospital for their unrelenting support and excellent care over the years.

 

The loss is immeasurable, but so is the love left behind. Rest in peace, dear friend.

 

Reposing at Massey Bros. Funeral Home, 5 Newtown Park, Blackrock A94 X308, on Tuesday evening, 14 December 2021, from 6.00pm to 8.00pm. Removal on Wednesday morning, 15 December 2021, to St. Patrick's Church, Monkstown, arriving for 10.00am Requiem Mass with burial thereafter in Shanganagh Cemetery. Please note church capacity is limited to 50%.
