Mairéad RECK
(née Hickey)
RECK (née Hickey), Mairéad (Newcastle, Co. Dublin and formerly of Kilbrien, Ballinamult, Co. Waterford) August 18th 2023, peacefully, after a short illness, surrounded by her family and in the loving care of the staff at Maguire Ward, Tallaght Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Michael and cherished mother of Alan and Mark. Predeceased by her sister Nuala. Sadly missed by her loving sons, daughters-in-law Denise and Linda, grandchildren Charlie, Ailbhe and Michael, sisters Marie and Cait, brothers James, Patrick and John, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at her home on Sunday (20th August) from 5pm to 7pm. Removal to St. Finian’s Church, Newcastle on Monday arriving for Requiem Mass at 12noon followed by burial in Newcastle Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to The Irish Cancer Society.
