Máirín Quill
QUILL (Wellesley Terrace, Wellington Road, Cork and formerly Gortloughera, Kilgarvan, Co. Kerry); On December 18th, 2025 peacefully, in the presence of her loving family after a long illness bravely borne under the excellent care of the management & staff at Marymount University Hospital & Hospice, Curraheen Road, Cork.
MÁIRÍN former TD, Senator and Councillor for Cork North Central, much loved aunt of Brian and Raymond, sister of the late John, Pat, Dan Joe, Frank and Ita Quill, cherished grand aunt of Conor and Meadhbh. Deeply mourned by her loving family, Brian’s partner Caroline and friends.
Reposing at the Coburg Street Funeral Home of Jerh. O’ Connor Ltd; On Friday (December 19th) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.
Requiem Mass at 10.00am on Saturday (December 20th) in St. Patrick’s Church, Lower Glanmire Road, Cork.
Burial afterwards at St. Garvan’s Cemetery , Kilgarvan, Co. Kerry.
