Majella Horan (Nee Healy) of Keelnabrack Lower, Glenbeigh and formerly of Castletownbere, Co. Cork passed away peacefully on the 8th of February 2026 surrounded by her loving family and in the amazing care of the palliative care team and staff of University Hospital Kerry.

 

She will be deeply missed by her loving husband Michael, beloved children Gabriella and Philip, son in law Seamus, daughter in law Shauna, brother PJ and many friends and relatives.

 

Majella is predeceased by her parents Jimmy and Dympna Healy.

 

Waking at Brennans Funeral Home, Glenbeigh this Tuesday the 10th of February from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Requiem Mass for Majella Horan will take place in St. James's Church, Glenbeigh, at 12 noon on Wednesday followed by private cremation at The Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy.

 

The Requiem Mass will be live streamed on https://mcn.live/Camera/st-james-church-glenbeigh Alternatively go to MCN Media and select St. James Church, Glenbeigh.
