Malachy Conway

The death has occurred of Malachy Conway, Cornawall, Smithborough, Co. Monaghan, Tuesday 13th January 2026, peacefully in Cavan General Hospital.

 

Predeceased by his siblings Michael, Charlie, Mary, Frank, Larry, Tom, Briege, Alice and Liam.

Cherished and much loved by his nephew and neighbour Stephen and his wife Aideen and his great-nieces, Lily-Rose and Emily-Jane. Malachy will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his nephews, nieces, sisters-in-law Lily (Conway, Loughgall, Armagh) and Teresa (Conway, Tandragee, Armagh), extended family, friends, neighbours and by all who knew and loved Malachy

Malachy will repose at his late residence, Cornawall, Smithborough, H18 XV83 on Wednesday evening (14th) from 6pm to 9pm and all day Thursday (15th).

 

Malachy’s Funeral Mass will take place in St Laobhin's Church, Killeevan on Friday 16th at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery
