The death has occurred of
Malachy Coogan
Malachy Coogan, Mooretown, Dromiskin, Co. Louth. Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, 4th February 2026, at home, surrounded by the love and care of his devoted family. Beloved husband of Elizabeth (née Broe) and cherished father of James and loving grandfather Georgia. Malachy will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his heartbroken wife and son, grand-daughter, daughter-in-law Olga, brothers and sisters, extended family, neighbours and his many friends, who were blessed to know him and will forever cherish his kindness, warmth and gentle spirit.
May Malachy Rest in Peace.
Malachy will repose at his residence (A91 K304) on Friday from 2pm to 7pm. Removal on Saturday morning at 10.40am from his home, arriving at St. Peter’s Church, Dromiskin (A91 X674) for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in Dromiskin Cemetery.
