Malachy Meegan

The death has occurred of Malachy Meegan, Lisnaclea, Kingscourt, Co. Cavan, peacefully at Drumbear Lodge Nursing Home, Monaghan, 30th March 2026, in his 98th year.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Kathleen, his parents Barney and Mary, his sisters Peggy and Anna Marie, and his brothers Brian, Francie and Dessie. Deeply regretted by his loving family, daughters Gabrielle (Adrian O’Sullivan) and Geraldine, sons Bernard and Malachy, grandchildren Daniel, Brendan and Eva, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Rest in Peace

Reposing at Kieran Bros. Funeral Home, Hall Street, Kingscourt (A82 R3W2) on Wednesday, 1st April from 5pm to 8pm. Funeral Service on Thursday, 2nd April, at 10am in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kingscourt followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
