Marcella Dempsey
(née Sweeney)
Marcella Dempsey née Sweeney, Doorley Park, Rathangan, Co. Kildare. Formerly of St. Patrick's Park, Rathangan and Athboy, Co. Meath. Peacefully, 27th May 2025, in the wonderful care of the staff at Beechpark Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family. Wife of The Late Paddy. Pre-Deceased by her parents and siblings. Sadly missed by her loving daughter Sharon, son in law Paddy, granddaughter Grace, nephew Michael, nieces Angela, Mary, Deirdre and Niamh, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at McWeys Funeral Home, Abbeyview, Kildare Town from 3pm on Thursday evening (29th May) concluding with Rosary at 7pm. Removal by Glennons Funeral Directors on Friday morning to arrive at the Church of the Assumption & St. Patrick, Rathangan for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Rathangan.
