Marcella Flood

The death has occurred, in her 70th year, of Marcella Flood (née McGahon), Drogheda Road, Togher, peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, surrounded by her family. Marcella, beloved wife of John and loving mother of Brendan, Rosette, Jennifer, Ruth and Alan. Predeceased by her dad Johnny and her mum Marcella, brother Sean, son Timothy and daughter Teresa. Sadly missed by her husband, sons, daughters, grandchildren Martin, Nicole, Carly, Natasha, Aaron, Ryan, Nathan, Christian, Charlie and  Phoebe, sisters Marie, Carmel and Anne, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

A private family funeral for Marcella will take place due to Government advice regarding public gatherings, with numbers limited to 10. Removal from Connor's Funeral Home, Dunleer on Friday morning at 10.30am to Saint Columcille's Church, Togher arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am, which can be viewed live at

Burial afterwards in Clonmore Cemetery. 

There will be an opportunity for the community to support the family and remember Marcella by being present, socially distanced, on the route to the church, via her home, and on the route to the cemetery. 

Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, in lieu to the ICU, Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.
