The death has occurred of Marcella Murrin (née Kelly) Merrion, Dublin 4 and formerly of Adoon, Cloone, Co. Leitrim, Thursday, 3rd February 2022, peacefully after a long illness, surrounded by her loving family and in the tender care of the staff at Lough Erril Private Nursing Home, Mohill, Co. Leitrim.

Beloved wife of Henry, adored mother of Helena and Celine and sister of Sean, Mel, Helen, Peter Mary, Chris and the late Paddy.

Sadly missed by her treasured grandchildren; Matthew, Ed and Beth Forbes, sons-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her home in Adoon School House, Adoon, Gorvagh, Co. Leitrim on Friday from 4.00pm to 8.00pm.  Funeral Mass on Saturday at 12 noon in St. Mary’s Church, Cloone, Co. Leitrim (Eircode N41 KW95) followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.  Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to the Alzheimer’s Society care of McKeon’s Funeral Directors, Cloone, Co.
