The Barrett family wish to announce with great sadness and fond memories the loss of their adored mother Margaret, who died peacefully in her 97th year at home with her family on May 30th 2020. 

Beloved wife of the late Liam and loved and cherished mother of Kay(McCarthy), Bill, Mary(Coleman), Ann(Lehane), Sheila(Shine), Noreen(Delea) and the late baby John and sister of Joan(Deasy), Mary(Forde), Danny and the late John, Mick, and Jerry.

She will be sadly missed by her loving family, daughter-in-law, sons-in-law, dearly loved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sisters, brother, nephews, nieces, relatives, carers, neighbours and friends. 

In an effort to follow Government and HSE guidelines, Mum’s home and funeral will be private. The family would like to thank you for your co-operation and understanding at this difficult time. A Memorial Mass will take place at a later date when normality resumes. Condolences can be left on the “condolence “ link below.

Mum’s funeral cortege will be passing at 12 noon (approx) Tuesday from Ballyheada Church to Innishannon Churchyard Cemetery via Killeady road. The Barrett family would be delighted if you could join with them on the roadside to celebrate their mother’s wonderful life. We ask that people observe social distancing along the route.
