Margaret Barton
(née Sullivan)
Margaret passed away peacefully at home after a sudden illness bravely borne with her loving family by her side on Friday 13th September 2024.
Pre-deceased by her parents Sarah Jane and Michael James Sullivan, deeply loved and mourned by her husband Pat, daughter Shona and sons Leslie and Aengus and their partners Paul, Emma and Jeannie, very sadly missed by her adored grandsons Shane and Leon, Shane’s partner Nadine and great grandchildren Jamie and Ellie. Margaret was the beloved eldest sister of brother Joe, sisters Ann (Feeney), Teresa (Nolan), Mary (Hynes), Kathleen (Coughlan) and Nuala (Maher), brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, godchildren, extended family, neighbours and large circle of friends.

Reposing in the Long Room in Crank House, Banagher, Co Offaly (Eircode R42 DE61) on Sunday 15th September 5pm to 7pm. Funeral cortège will arrive to St. Cronans Church, Lusmagh, Banagher, Co Offaly (Eircode R42 WP40) for 11am funeral mass on Monday 16th September and will be laid to rest afterwards in Kilmachonna cemetery Lusmagh. All are welcome.
