Margaret Beamish
(née Cahalane)

On February 21st 2023 Margaret (Peggy) (née Cahalane) in her 100th year, passed away peacefully in the presence of her loving family and in the exceptional care of the staff of Skibbereen Residential Care Centre.

Beloved wife of the late Samuel, mother of the late Robert and grandmother of the late Kieran. A wonderful mother of Noel, Stephen, Helen (O'Donovan), Nora (McKennedy), Margaret (O'Driscoll) and Kate (O'Driscoll).

Sadly missed by her adored grandchildren,  David, Sharon, John, Sam, Christopher,  Caitriona, Marion, Denise, Bernadette, Steven, James, Helen, Mark, Michelle, Kate, Racheal, Michael, Emma and Caroline, great-grandchildren, Liana, Addison, Anna May, godson Brendan, daughter-in-law Rena (Bradfield), sons-in-law Flor, Michael, Patrick and Kieran, grand nephews, grand nieces, relatives and many wonderful friends and neighbours. 

Reunited with her mother and father, Timothy and Nora Cahalane, brothers Teddy, Michael and John, sisters Mary, Catherine (Kitty) and Nora and nephew Pat Clancy.

Lying in repose at Doolan's Funeral Home, Drinagh, P47K858 on Thursday, 23rd February 2023, with visitation from 6pm to 7.30pm followed by prayers. Requiem Mass on Friday,  24th February, at 1pm in Saint Mary's Catholic Church, Leap, followed by burial in the The Sacred Heart Church, Cemetery, Drinagh.
