Peacefully at the Regional Hospital, Tullamore. Rita will be sadly missed by her loving husband John, daughters Helen, Caroline, Mary, Joan and Olive, sons Joe and John, sons in law David and Barry, Caroline's partner Benny, Mary's partner Des, Olive's partner Trevor and daughter in law Karen, her adored grandchildren Niamh, Brandon, Erin, Charlie, Laney, Peter, Cameron, Ava, Taylor, Shannon, Naomi, Scott, Chloe and Rachel, great-grandchildren Mason and Noah, her brother Jimmy, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at O'Reilly's Funeral Home, Harbour Street, Tullamore (R35 FC84) on Wednesday from 5pm until Rosary 7pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday morning at 10am in the Church of the Assumption, Tullamore, followed by Cremation in Newlands Cross Crematorium at 1pm.
