It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Byrne, Hallahoise, Castledermot, Co. Kildare who passed away peacefully on the 12th of August, 2025 surrounded by her loving family in the excellent care of the staff in St. Vincent's Nursing home, Athy.

Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Annie, brothers Tom, Arthur and Jim, sisters Bridget, Patricia and Winnie and her daughter Geraldine Ann and son Peter.

Margaret will be deeply missed by her husband Mick, daughter Ann-Marie and son Michael, son-in-law Richard and daughter-in-law Colette, her adored grandchildren Cian, Shane, Pierce, Gianna, Ciara, Kate, Michael, Cillian, Alex, Cayden, Jayden and her newborn great-grandson Daniel, her brother John, sisters Essie, Maureen and Ann, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Rest in Peace

Reposing at Rigney's Funeral Home, Athy (R14 TX26) on Saturday afternoon (August 16th) from 2pm until 5pm. Removal at 5.30pm on Saturday evening to arrive at The Church of the Assumption, Castledermot for funeral prayers at 6pm. Requiem Mass at 11am on Sunday morning (August 17th) see livestream link on http://www.churchservices.tv/Castledermot with burial afterwards in Coltstown Cemetery, Castledermot.
