The death has occurred of
Margaret Cahalane
(née Hayes)
Cahalane (née Hayes) (Ballinspittle) on February 25th 2026, peacefully after a short illness in Cork University Hospital and surrounded by her loving family. Margaret, beloved wife of the late Tommy and dear mother of Michael, Ann and the late Gerard.
Sadly missed and fondly remembered by her loving family, daughter-in-law Colette, grandchildren Lisa, Shauna and Dylan, great-grandchild Leo, also Jonathan and Diarmuid, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Margaret will be lying in repose at Gabriel and O'Donovan's Funeral Home, BANDON (eircode P72WE20) on Thursday from 5.30pm followed by Prayers at 7pm. Due to the road works in the centre of Bandon town, access to the Funeral Home is advised via Chapel Street or Riverview Shopping Centre.
Requiem Mass on Friday at 12 noon in Holy Trinity Church, Ballinspittle (family will be in attendance from 11.30am) after which Margaret will be laid to rest in Templetrine Cemetery.
